1941 Ford Coupe. Here is your chance to be the next caretaker! A complete Barron La Bonny upholstery kit was expertly installed just before I got this car four years ago. The bodywork and paint were done by the previous owner. The body is perfect, the paint is driver quality, he didnt put it on wet enough, but it is very presentable, no one has told me the painting was done poorly but it is! This way you can have fun driving it on any road you want and not worrying! The car is not rusted anywhere that I have seen and I have been all over this car. Things I have done, 4 inch dropped 40 Ford front axle with GM metric disc brakes with Ford 5 on 4.5 pattern, rear pattern is the original Ford 5 on 5.5 pattern, the spare is an original with both patterns, all 4 wheels and tires are new, 6x16 inch Vintage steel wheels with 3 3/4 back spacing, these wheels have safety beads, the original wheels are 4.5 inches wide and dont have safety beads, front tires are 205/55r16, rear tires are 205/65r16, the hub caps are 40 Ford smooth. New front spring and new shackles on all corners with new synthetic bushings on all 8 pivot points. The brake fluid is DOT 5, that is synthetic, not my choice (I use Dot 3 or 4) it was already in the system and when I put the disc brakes on I didnt have time to switch. You can not mix Dot 5 with any other. The Master cylinder is original 1941 Ford. That isnt supposed to work, but it does, come and see! The stock spare tire isnt supposed to work on the front disc brakes either.but it does! I have a 1 inch spacer on the rear hubs to move the rear wheels out 1 inch. Extra paint of the black cherry is included. The rear spring has the main leaf eyes reversed for a 1-1.5 inch drop. I installed a new Bob Drake fuel tank. The engine is a 85 horsepower 24 stud 221 cubic inch original type flathead, I didnt build it, the previous owner did and he has passed, it runs perfectly, it sounds like a mild cam (just guessing) the 4 barrel intake.

Can I Speak directly with the owner? With all the rising scams on Craigslist and other sites, sellers list with us to protect their privacy. So in most cases the owner only wants to talk with ClassicCarDeals and we deal with the buyer, but there is a rare occasion where we can do a 3 Way phone Call with the owner. We and the owner are more than happy to get any and all questions and pictures that you need to make a sound decision.
Is The Car Available? The inventory on our site changes all the time, so there may be a small number of cars that will be sold when you call.
