"1940 Pontiac Silver Streak four-door touring sedan, this vehicle has remained within the same family since it was first purchased! Comes with the original handwritten receipt or order when this was ordered back in 1940. This car came as originally ordered without a radio. Equipped with a smooth-running L-head straight eight-cylinder engine, a 3-speed manual transmission, and original features like a flexible steering wheel, heater, and defroster. Riding on painted to match steel wheels with polished beauty rings and center cap, and wide white wall tires. The burgundy paint, chrome and brightwork, and tan interior appear original in style, including the seating and headliner, as well as well-maintained mechanical component. Minor authentic imperfections exist like a broken gauge lens and slight delamination in the glass. For reliability and cooling the radiator has been replace with an aluminum radiator. On the road, the car's quiet and smooth proper operation and interior make it feel like you are back in 1940.
