1940 FORD Deluxe This car underwent a complete frame off restoration. The goal of the owner was to retain all the charm and nostalgia of the original car. The motor is a balanced 1953 Mercury flat head with a Isky cam, aluminum Edelbrock heads, Holley 390four barrel, Offenhauser intake, adjustable lifters, Chevy valves, hardened seats, Speedway water pump, 12 volt alternator, Mallory electronic ignition, electric fuel pump, dual exhausts, 12 volt starter and an American Auto wire 14 harness. A C4 transmission was re-built and a 8" Ford differential was also re-built and adapted to the car. The front end is a Mustang II front end with disc brakes, all new brake lines and master cylinder, gas tank with all new lines. The front seats are from a S-10 and the rear seat was custom built. This is a rust free, straight car.
