"Gateway Classic Cars is proud to offer this 1937 Ford pickup, a landmark vehicle in American automotive history, often cited as a masterpiece of Art Deco industrial design. It represented a significant shift toward the streamlined ""aero"" look that moved away from the boxy shapes of the early 1930's. This example has been restored to an original looking and driving example used by an apple orchard company for advertising.
powered by Ford's iconic 221 cubic-inch Flathead V8, producing roughly 85 horsepower. Transmission: Standard, a 3-speed manual transmission. this example has the addition of a hot water heater to the cab.
Body Construction: It was one of the first Ford trucks to feature an all-steel cab, making it more durable and weather-resistant than previous wood-framed models. The windshield, unlike the 1936 model, the '37 introduced a two-piece ""crank-out"" split windshield for improved ventilation. Vinyl bench seat with the addition of lap belts
