1935 Ford 5 Window Coupe (Model 48), a 2 tone blue with grey fenders to match the interior, and a rumble seat. The side engine compartment panels are included but not shown. It was a southern California hot rod up until late Spring of 2015. The vehicle is a rolling chassis minus the flathead V-8 and T-5 transmission, as both are in the process of being rebuilt for a new hotrod project. The car as a hot rod was completed, and on the road, in CA in 2010. The body is rustfree coming from a CA dry environment. The frame is stock, with a 'Posie' rear suspension (Ford 8' w/ 3.50 ratio, leaf springs, shocks and anti sway bar) and a Mustang II front end with chrome coils and shocks. The vehicle is setup with a TBI EFI fuel setup with Mega Squirt II software that handled 2 - 1988 Ford Escort TBI's (a custom 2010 EFI setup) that were on the Flathead V-8 ( minimal work is needed for a newer up to date EFI setup), Southern Air AC, and a reinforced trans mount for a modern transmission (stick or automatic).. The vehicle just needs either a Chevy 350 or a Ford 302 V8, including a manual or automatic transmission, radiator, and the correct engine mounts for a nice cruiser. With the current stock frame, this vehicle is meant as a cruiser and NOT as a muscle machine. A muscle machine would require a new high performance frame. In 4 summers of car shows, 9 trophies, including 2 Medina VSRA Ohio Nationals picks, 1 Solon Cruisin' the Commons Ford Night Best of Show Modified (2015), 1 Summit Racing Ford Show Top 30 Pick (2016), 2 - 1st place Fords from 1900-1949 at North Coast Mustang & Ford Club (Nick Abraham Elyria Ford 2018 - 2019), Best Customized Medina County 14th Annual Wings and Wheels (2018), and Top pick Winner at Cruisin' the Chapel (2018). We have many buying options for you, (call to speak to a rep today). You can buy with confidence from a trusted Classic Car Source.
Where is vehicle located? If you want to find out the location of a vehicle, please call us between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. EST, we have staff standing by to help you in every way possible.
Can I Speak directly with the owner? With all the rising scams on Craigslist and other sites, sellers list with us to protect their privacy. So in most cases the owner only wants to talk with ClassicCarDeals and we deal with the buyer, but there is a rare occasion where we can do a 3 Way phone Call with the owner. We and the owner are more than happy to get any and all questions and pictures that you need to make a sound decision.
Is The Car Available? The inventory on our site changes all the time, so there may be a small number of cars that will be sold when you call.
