1932 Ford Sedan In the world of street rodding the 1932 Ford is king. There are a lot out there but not all are created equal. This beautiful 1932 Ford Sedan is a step above the rest and is an extremely high end build. It is the type of show car you can take to weekend cruise ins but also be right at home in the big indoor shows. It is a frequent award winner and turns heads wherever it goes. Every single piece of it was assembled professionally by some of the best in the business. The body on it is 100% all steel and painted in a slick combination of Cashmere and Magna Metal Metallic. The body restoration and paint prep were done by M&W Restoration out of Visalia, Ca and the paint was shot by Dan's Paint & Body in Tulare, Ca. So it doesn't matter what component was being done on the car it was shipped and moved around between award winning shops to insure everything was of the highest quality. Between the colors, along the bodylines, very nice pinstriping has been applied which is a subtle classy touch. On the sides of the hood are custom cutouts with 5 pieces of custom made trim over a mesh grill. You can tell it is a well thought out build because this same style of trim can be found on the steel running boards. It has the chrome grill, stock style chrome front/rear bumpers, chrome spreader bar, chrome side mirrors and chrome headlight rings all of which have a mirror like finish. The glass is in place throughout and is all tinted and damage free. In back the car has smooth inset LED tail lights above the gas tank and a 3rd brake light below the rear window for better visibility. For the front turn signals they are incorporated into the headlights. The car sits on a set of very cool painted to match artillery wheels with large chrome Ford center caps which look perfect on the car. Open up the 3 piece Rootlieb hood to view the fully custom built 350ci V8 motor which is paired with a 700R automatic. The engine compartment is beautifully dressed up with custom polished and chrome components throughout. Even the firewall is smoothed out and another example of detail work is the two tone paint lines from the exterior continue into the compartment. The motor has aluminum heads, a Holley carburetor and was built up to run strong. The polished stainless steel exhaust is very worthy of showing off and delivers a great sound. Every component is of the best quality and it has the very unique polished Steer Clear steering box which keeps the the firewall looking clean and improves clearance for the rack & pinion system. It has the Heidts independent front suspension system and the Heidts rear that incorporates in board disc brakes and coil overs. There are also disc brakes up front and the car performs extremely well. The body sits on a custom TCI chassis and underneath it is very clean so you could easily slide mirrors underneath to show it off. The suicide doors have safety pins and open up to reveal the beautiful custom interior completed by Gabe's Custom Interiors. They are known for their work which you can see shown of regularly at Grand National shows. Starting with the bucket seats you will find the same two tone color combination that is in excellent condition. The door panels, floors, headliner are all custom designed as well. If you remember that custom exterior trim you will see this theme continue inside the car. There are 3 stainless spears on the door panels and show floor mats plus if you look at the seat inserts you will note custom stitching that reflects that same look. Details, details, details! The car also has carpeted mats for when you are ready to drive it. Between the dash and the floor is a custom built center console that houses the Lokar shifter, GPS Navigation with custom stereo, power window controls, and Vintage Air controls. It was all professionally wired by Steve's Electric in California so everything works properly. Above that is a custom 1940 Ford dash that is painted to match and fits in the car seamlessly. It looks like it should be stock and is topped with white VDO gauges in a custom finned bezel. In front of the driver is the tilt column with leather wrapped Banjo style steering wheel and the car even has cruise control! This car is extremely well done and every inch is a work of art. It gets attention wherever it goes and even took home 2nd place overall at the Grand National Roadster Show that brings in 600-1,000 high end Street Rods and is often referred to as the best indoor show in the world.
