Cruisin Classics is pleased to present this 1929 Ford Model A Tudor Sedan. Step back in time to the roaring 20's when taking a journey in a motorcar was still a special experience. This '29 Ford is the pure embodiment of that pre-war automotive elegance and simplicity. The car comes to us with black fenders and the body dressed in a coat of tan paint with brown belt molding and orange pinstripes – an attractive combination. It appears to have been painted some time ago, but it has held up well over time and is still in good driver quality condition. Up front you'll find a gullwing-style hood, a bright radiator grille surround flanked by large bucketed headlights, and a chrome bumper. The grill sports two medallions: a first place senior award from the Penn-Ohio ""A"" Ford Club and a first place national award in 1981 from the Model A Restorers Club. Looking upward, there is a gas fill on the cowl, a swing-out windshield, a single wiper arm with no blade, a sun visor topped with black vinyl, and a black vinyl roof. The running boards that connect the fenders are topped with rubber and Ford step-plates. The car rides on 21"" black wire wheels wrapped in newer Firestone tires and a full spare is mounted on the rear between chrome bumperettes. Take a peek underneath to find a clean black undercarriage and a single exhaust.
Under the hood is a clean well-presented engine bay with a rebuilt 3.3 liter 201ci water-cooled inline 4-cylinder engine. These little engines were real workhorses, producing 40 hp and 128 lb/ft of torque with a top speed around 65mph. The trusty block is mated up to a period-correct 3-speed unsynchronized manual transmission. The brakes are mechanical drums on all four corners and steeting is manual as well. Some other highlights under the hood include a newer radiator, a newer leakless water pump, an electrical starter, and a single-wire alternator. This Model A still runs on a 6-volt electrical system.
Inside the cabin is predictably minimalist, but comfortable and well-cared for. Broadcloth fabric covers the doors, side panels, and the front bucket and rear bench seats. The seats are in good condition with little sign of wear. The doors offer map-pockets for storage. Overhead is a tight tan felt headliner and underfoot is a nice fitted black rubber mat. The front and rear windows roll up and down as they should and the back window has a pull-down privacy blind – a cool touch. Ahead of the driver is what appears to be the original 4-spoke steering wheel with a working horn and controls for lights, spark advance, and throttle. The dash ahead is painted body color and in the center is a metal bezel that contains the ignition, speedometer, fuel gauge, and amp gauge. The odometer reads 11,837 miles. Rising from the floor are a shifter for the manual transmission and an emergency brake and ahead of the passenger is a manual choke. The car starts easily and drives with the raw engaging feel of a true vintage machine.
This Model A is not just a car, it is a rolling piece of history that offers a driving experience steeped in nostalgia. This Ford is turn-key ready to hit the road today and head to a car show, a parade, an ice cream parlor, or just cruise around town and collect smiles wherever you go! Give our friendly staff a call today and make this beauty your own!

Here at Cruisin Classics, we understand that you have many options when choosing where you purchase your classic, muscle or collector car and we would like to thank you for considering us.
Cruisin Classics has been buying and selling cars for many years.. The majority were your average daily drivers but our passion has always been in muscle cars and hot rods so in 1996, Cruisin Classics built a 56,000 sq.ft. showroom located in Columbus, OH that they still operate out of today. All of our vehicles are hand-picked and selected to ensure they fit our inventory. This facility is now arguably one of the best-stocked collections for sale in the US housing hundreds of unique automobiles all under one roof. We invite you to our facility! There is something for everybody when you come to visit.
After years of serving as central Ohio's premiere classic car dealer at Cruisin Classics Auto Sales, we saw an unfulfilled need that was not being met for our clients. We loved helping match our clients with the classic and American muscle cars of their dreams. But what about after the purchase? We recognized that our clients needed a trusted resource to continue to care for their classic vehicles. It did not sit well with us that our valued clients and their incredible vehicles were being outsourced to, sometimes several, third-party resources for maintenance and performance needs. We also wanted to help the many people that we had met over the years who already owned classic vehicles which were in need of restoration, upgrades, and maintenance. Too often, we were seeing vehicles with so much potential left sitting in garages under covers because their owners did not know who to turn to for such specialized work. It is our goal to offer our clients a truly comprehensive, seamless, and enjoyable classic car ownership experience, from purchase to maintenance to storage. Thus, Cruisin Classics Performance Center was born. We have cherry-picked the most talented, experienced, and passionate team of technicians to offer our clients a true one-stop-shop solution for any and all of their classic car needs. Our honest business model has lasted almost 25 years to date and Cruisin Classics has a worldwide reputation as one of the best in the business.
Outside of the shop, this business has afforded us the opportunity to be actively involved in our community and fulfill our goal of supporting several local and national organizations that hold a special place in our hearts. We are proud sponsors of the Kiwanis Club of Columbus, the Columbus USO, Honor Flight, Special Olympics, multiple car clubs, and much more.
In conclusion, 100% customer satisfaction is our main goal. Always has been.. always will be. We would like to invite anyone considering one of our vehicles to come to our beautiful facility to inspect the car in person or send somebody on your behalf.
