This 1973 Plymouth Roadrunner features a 383 V8 engine dressed to look like a 440 V8, paired with a 4-speed Pistol Grip shifter and bucket seats. The car boasts a nice paint job and runs great. It includes performance hood treatment, hidden cold air cowl induction, and factory hood pins.

Interesting fact: Plymouth paid $50,000 to Warner Bros.-Seven Arts to use the Road Runner name and likeness from the Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner cartoons, including the iconic “beep, beep” horn. The Road Runner was based on the Chrysler B platform, the same as the Belvedere and Satellite. Being from the end of the muscle car era adds to its appeal.

The interior features a beautiful wood-handled 4-speed Pistol Grip shifter, a wood grain dash/gauge cluster with a dash tachometer, and black vinyl bucket seats. The door panels, carpet, and headliner are in great condition.

Originally born in FE5 Rallye Red, it now sports an eye-catching metallic blue paint job. The body features good lines and gaps, with new bodywork design including a more rounded fuselage, a steeply raked windshield, hidden cowl, and deeply inset two-level grille with horizontal twin headlight pods. A large, jagged curving side stripe gives it a fast look, reminiscent of the Starsky & Hutch Ford Gran Torino.

Overall, this is a great car that runs great!
