2008 Chevrolet Corvette Pace Car For Sale - Only 60 Miles From New, 1 Of 284 Built, Six Speed, 3LT LMC is very proud to offer for sale this 2008 Chevrolet Corvette Pace Car For 2008, Chevrolet produced a total of 500 pace car replicas in both coupe and convertible form, each signed personally by Fittipaldi at the Corvette’s Bowling Green, Ky., assembly plant. Commemorating one of the most recognizable Indianapolis 500 pace cars, the Corvette 30th Anniversary Pace Car featured a black exterior with silver graphics that honors the 1978 model – the production replicas of which became instant collectibles and continue to stand as an iconic symbol of Corvette’s heritage at the front of the Indy field. In addition to the exterior color scheme, the anniversary models are equipped with a special, two-tone titanium-color interior, with the Indianapolis 500 logo embroidered on the seats. Power comes from an LS3 6.2L V8 producing 430hp backed by either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. The 2008 Chevrolet Corvette Pace car offered here for sale has only 60 miles from new and is one of only 284 coupe examples ever built and one of very few with a manual six speed! Ordered new at Danny Beck Chevrolet in Tulsa, Oklahoma and taken delievry by the original owner at the Corvette Museum. The first owner with a host of options including the 3LT option package which includes heads up display, Z51 performance package, power telescoping wheel, heated seats, memory package, universal home remote, side impact airbags, adjustable sport bucket seats, luggage shade, steering wheel controls and dual mode exhaust. Optional equipment includes dual roof package, premium audio package with navigation and Corvette Museum delivery. Company History Legendary Motorcar Company Ltd� first opened its doors in 1985 with a dream of restoring and trading in the finest and rarest of classic and performance cars. Legendary Motorcar soon began producing national show winning restorations and record sales. In 2002 Legendary Motorcar Company Ltd. moved into its brand new 55,000 sq. ft. facility. The new Halton Hills location includes: 100 car showroom, fully equipped mechanical and assembly bays, downdraft spray booth and body shop, plus a conference center and is of course the location for the television series �Legendary Motorcar� on Discovery�s Velocity Channel. Each area of the restoration shop is staffed by skilled craftsmen with several 100 years of combined experience. All of this adds up to a complete, state-of-the-art facility for every aspect of your collector car needs from ground-up restorations, to service, appraisals, storage and an ever changing inventory of some of the world�s finest collector and investment cars for sale.
