2002 Chevrolet Z06 Corvette. I purchased the car in the Spring and have done quite a bit of work to it since Ive had it. The car currently has only 42,275 miles. Here is the work the person I purchased the car off of did: New Mickey Thompson tires all around. New slotted and drilled rotors all around. New Eibach lowering bolts front and rear. New LED headlights. New LED taillights and rear corner lights. New Z06 floor mats. New McLeod RXT twin disc clutch. New Elite Engineering catch can. New Procharger open BOV. NEW adjustable Tick Performance master cylinder. New headlamp motors. New battery. New carbon fiber shift knob. He painted the factory Z06 wheels copper colored. Since Ive owned the car this Summer Ive done the following work: New lower oil pan gasket. New valve cover gaskets. New NSK plugs. New MSD plug wires. New oil sending unit. New cam positioning sensor. New set of knock sensors and knock sensor wiring harness. New intake gaskets. New rear seal updated plate and seal. New lockout cylinder for transmission. New ceramic brake pads all around. New red braided brake lines all around. New leather shift boot. New leather emergency brake handle boot. Most of the work I did was chasing a oil leak. I believe the oil leak to be from the cam positioning sensor. After replacing the cam positioning sensor it still continued to leak at boost. I removed the cam positioning sensor and covered the o-ring with gasket maker. I dont know if this fixed it since I havent ran the car at boost since doing this repair. The oil ran down the back of the engine and onto the headers causing smoking out the back. Here is the work that was done before the prior owner purchased the car: D1SC Procharger with supporting mods including dual inter coolers. RPM level 5 transmission. RPM level 3 differential with 4:10 gears. Borla longtube headers. Borla X pipe w/o cats. SLP loudmouth catback exhaust. LED pillar pod with gauges. Stubby antenna.
