Ford missed out on a great opportunity when they didn't build the Cobra like this 2001 Ford Mustang Cobra Convertible. Every aspect of this car is a beast! At first glance, it may seem like a regular Cobra with different wheels and a few body upgrades. But as soon as you hear the engine roar to life, you'll know that this is no ordinary ride!
Under the hood, this sweet snake is powered by a Sean Hyland 5.0L Stroker Motor that has been balanced and blueprinted by AMT Performance Engines. The motor features a variety of forged parts, including pistons, crankshaft, and rods. It also has a pair of heads that have been ported by Sean Hyland and a set of Stage 1 Cams. The Vortech T Trim supercharger provides 20 pounds of boost and has upgraded race bearings. The car is currently making 723RWHP on E85, with the potential to be even more powerful. The power is transmitted through a Viper Spec T-56 6-speed transmission with a short throw Pro 5.0 shifter. The car features a solid rear end conversion Built 8.8 rear end with 31 spline axles with 3.55 gears. The car also has a long list of upgrades, including suspension and braking system improvements. If you want the full list of upgrades, we can provide it for you. This car is no joke, and finding a vehicle that comes close to its performance will cost you twice as much.
