1999 Dodge Durango 4x4 R/T 5.9L. This is the First of its kind and part of the SRT family! Based off of the Dodge Dakota platform, these Durangos are unique in every way. In 1997 Chrysler Jeep Dodge group experimented with new performance vehicles and made some unique cars for their performance line. In turn, these evolved into what we know and love today (high power high performance cars like SRT-8's Hellcats, track hawks etc etc) In 1998 Dodge made the 5.9L Jeep (limited 1 year only) the SRT or R/T Durango, The SRT RAM, and the SRT Dakota. These were all powered by 5.9L V8 engines and were special ordered from the dealer. (see wiki) I purchased this Durango from California in 2020 and brought it here to NY to have as part of my collection of 90's obscurities. The truck was traded into a dodge dealership and a good friend put me onto it. The Dodge has now 115K ORIGINAL MILES. (The car-fax shows discrepancy due to mistake at the dealership log. A Light bulb was out on the mileage window and sales manager couldn't read miles properly logging in the wrong miles). The Durango was traded in with 113K NOT 143K. I fixed the odometer light bulb when I received the car, it has now 115K. (I have put on 2K miles approximately). I have all documents to prove. I am actively trying to fix the issue with Car-fax. This Durango is in EXCEPTIONAL condition!!! It starts runs and drives very well. Its smooth, has plenty of power, and everything works as it should!! The truck is 100% RUST FREE. (ZERO rust anywhere). I have repainted a portion of the truck to fix a weakened clear coat (paint correction). It has NO ACCIDENTS whatsoever. The Truck has all the bells and whistles except leather. I have a mild lift kit I purchased for it (I will include with the sale). I also have the R/T wheels, they are in storage...those are 17's. I have the door badges and trunk door emblems on order, I should see them this coming week! (Door emblem says 'R/T 5.9L', and trunk badges say 'Dodge', '4x4'
