Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is pleased to present this very low mileage, one-owner 1997 Chevrolet Camaro 30th Anniversary Edition Camaro Z28/SS. These 30th Anniversary Edition SS Camaros were modified by SLP Engineering, Inc., whereby each received a lightweight composite hood with functional cold air intake; performance air induction, featuring high flow air filter; rear decklid spoiler, white 8" wide ZR-1 style cast aluminum alloy wheels (the T-Top and Hardtop cars received 17" wheels, 16" for convertibles); 245 section width low profile performance radial tires (BFGoodrich Comp T/A originally, but this one is now sporting Kumho Ecstas), Quaker State synthetic engine oil; commemorative Camaro SS Plaque; 3D SS graphics; and Camaro SS key fobs. There were additional performance options that could be added on to the base SS alteration, and this one was ordered by its owner with some of them. Specifically, it has the 30th Anniversary Edition Package, Performance Exhaust System, Torsen Torque Sensing Differential, Hurst Performance Shifter, Level II Bilstein Sport Suspension Package, SS Floor Mats, and the Oil Cooler Package. According to the SLP additional options sticker, this is SLP Car # 2075. According to the original Ste. Therese (QUE, CA) order manifest, dated 03/03/97, this car indeed has the important "Z28" and "Z4C" options listed. According to the information we can find, this is one of 957 of the 30th Anniversary Edition Camaro SS that were built. Given that this one has the LT1 and 6-speed manual transmission that it was born with, it may be possible to pin down exactly how many were ordered in this exact configuration; but suffice it to say it is not one youll find many of. With under 3800 miles on the odometer, this car has clearly been stored, and used very sparingly. Inside, the white leather seating is in the condition that one would expect for so few miles; but the front seats have been covered with seat covers since it was delivered to its owner. Were all getting to see them for the first time! These cars are indeed uncommon, and a one-owner car with so few miles on it is even rarer still! Give our Houston Showroom a call or email us today before someone beats you to it!
