This 1994 Ford Mustang Cobra convertible was first delivered to Kenny Ross Ford in Irwin, Pennsylvania, and is #79 of 1,000 examples produced to commemorate the Mustang�s selection as the pace car for the 1994 Indianapolis 500. The car is finished in Rio Red with a Saddle soft top over Saddle Indy leather and is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional equipment includes an SVO side-exit exhaust system, a rear spoiler, a Mach 460 stereo, sport seats, fog lights, and 17? SVT Cobra wheels. Work performed in preparation for the sale reportedly included performing an oil change and replacing the serpentine belt and battery. This Mustang Cobra shows 39k miles and is offered by the selling dealer with a Ford Certificate of Authenticity, a window sticker, a black boot cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Pennsylvania title.
The car is finished in Rio Red with 1994 Indianapolis 500 graphics as well as a Saddle convertible top that features a heated glass rear window. Exterior details include a black roll bar with an integrated brake light, a rear spoiler, fog lights, and quad side-exit exhaust outlets. Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, remote keyless entry, a Mach 460 stereo, and a CD player. Cobra-branded floor mats will accompany the car. A leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel fronts white SVT-branded instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 5,800-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, voltage, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 39k miles. The 5.0-liter V8 is fitted with electronic fuel injection as well as a K&N air filter and was factory rated at 240 horsepower and 285 lb-ft of torque when new.
