This is a pristine 1992 BMW850i with a neat history. It was originally from Japan. The owner, an engineer, loved it so much, he brought it with him to Dubai, when he moved there. He then moved to Canada, and brought it with him again. He sold it to the previous owner, and I, also an engineer, bought it from him.
The car is not only a head turner, but it runs incredible strongly and is in great condition.
It has service stamps in the service book, confirming the history presented above, and it was always service at a BMW dealer.
The toolbox is complete and the medical box is still sealed!!!
The interior is perfect, and the exterior has no rust.
The wheels are the Series 8, very rare.
Everything is stock, except I put in some lowering springs, but I still kept the original springs, and will include with the car.
The car passed safety, without any problems.
This is your chance to win an extremely rare 850i in pristine condition.
Known issues:
1. Some of the pixels of the onboard computer are dead.
2. The computer says Catalyst Overheat sometimes. If you google this, it is not a big deal at all. I just don't know how to disable it.
3. If the car isn't driven for 5+ days, it goes into trans fail mode for a few minutes due to the batteries losing charge. Then it drives like normal once the batteries are fully charged. The other way to get around this is to plug it into a trickle charger.
Other than that, the car is mechanically and physically pristine.
