Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/Austin

New Braunfels, TX 78130
Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/Austin is happy to offer this 1985 Pontiac Fiero SE. The Pontiac Fiero was produced from 1984 to 1988, although the planning for the new model began in the late 1970s with project engineers proposing a two-seat, mid-engine design that no US manufacturer had tackled before. GM launched "Project Pegasus" with the intent to develop a high-volume commuter car with sports-car-handsome looks. The Fiero name was chosen, one that has several meanings including "fierce" and "wild" in Spanish and "proud" in Italian. This is optioned with the 2.8L "Iron Duke" MFI H.O. 6-cylinder engine paired up to the 3-speed automatic transmission. This Fiero was bought new from Lembas Pontiac in Thousand Oaks, CA. mid-year 1985 & made its way to TX in 2018 & will be sent out with all of the original paperwork as well as an entire folder of maintenance receipts. The CarFax is clean & has an apparent mileage discrepancy that is offset by actual maintenance receipts showing that the 116,868 mile odometer reading is possibly the correct mileage (although we cannot guarantee it outside of these receipts). Additional options include AM/FM/Cassette, power windows, power door locks and moonroof. If youve never had the experience of driving these little Pontiac rockets, this is a chance to pick up an affordable classic that is ready to roll!
