Gateway Classic Cars is proud to digitally present this 1979 Chevrolet CorvetteThe success for Corvette is measured by the sheer numbers produced in 1979 at 53,807, and is one of the highest production numbers for corvette. After the chrome bumper C3s, 1979 was the most popular and sought after in the integral bumper cars. 1979 Corvette still retained the highest output with the L48 350, however due to EPA regulations these outputs were down from previous years. The high front wheel arches and high shoulder body styling really gives this car a nice visual without even moving. The car is equipped with the L-48 V8 and is mated to the 3-speed automatic which makes for a nice and easy driving car. The owner has just put on new tires and the blue on the white lettering is still on the tires. Interior of the car is in the bright red leather with matching color dash, glass T-tops and with the signature Corvette gauges make for a exciting space to drive.
