Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is honored to present to you, on consignment, this glowing example of a 1979 Avanti II! A quick internet search on these cars will start you down rabbit hole of a very interesting history lesson. We were blessed with the opportunity to represent this vehicle for the owner to give the next lucky person a chance to add this to their collection. The gold paint is in great shape and helps to accentuate the two tone, peanut butter cup leather interior. Over the 43 years since its been built, it has clocked a mere 2300 miles per year. The owner claims the 98,847 miles on the odometer are actual and the Chevy 350 motor and Turbo 350 transmission are original and have not been rebuilt. There is a Ford 9" rear end in place to complete the symphony of drivetrain desire. This car is equipped with factory air conditioning, AM/FM CD Radio, full size spare tire, stylish mooneyes hub caps, Recaro leather seats with lumbar support, power brakes with a recently replaced brake booster, power steering, power sunroof, power windows, and tilt steering wheel. This car is ready for its new owner, call today to find out how to get this vehicle in your driveway!

Our Scottsdale showroom is Gateway Classic Cars’ 16th location and opened in September 2017. We are located in Phoenix, Arizona which is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States and our reputation as the ‘Valley of the Sun’ allows for a year-round car season and a perfect environment to preserve vintage automobiles. Scottsdale is known as the home of the famous Barrett Jackson auction that draws thousands of collectors and enthusiasts to the Phoenix area every year. Our large and growing inventory includes plenty of desirable ‘southwest cars’ that have not been exposed to road salt and inclement weather like in many other US locations. We encourage our local car clubs and enthusiasts to come check us out on the last Saturday of every month for our Cars and Coffee event and cruise around our awesome 42,000 square-foot, air conditioned showroom.
