Vehicle Details
Up for sale my beautiful completely unrestored Toyota Corolla SR5 Lift-back. I inquired this Time Capsule from a collector who kept this beautiful Toyota parked in his showroom. Unrestored just the way it came from the dealer from bumper to bumper and everything works even the radio. 12500 original miles is something that I have never seen after buying and selling cars for over 45 years. You don’t see those cars anymore and many of them ended up in the east coast not surviving the snow and salt.
Exterior:
The exterior has a beautiful British Racing green. The body is rust free and looks immaculate.
Interior: has a beautiful original unrestored brown tan interior and has no damages or rip anywhere the interior or dashboard. All the gages works except the analog clock, drives and shift excellent. I made one trip to San Antonio and back to Dallas and this Toyota drives like a new car. The power brakes works really well and the shift guiar box shift nicely and smooth. On my way to San Antonio, people just can’t keep their eyes away from this very rare Toyota and some of them even have an idea what kind of car its or even saw one before. I have seen a few 3rd generation Toyota from 1975 to 1981 but never a two door SR5 lift back wagon. The rear seat forward down for extra rooms and capacity.
This Toyota wagon attract people like Madness so driving this thin you will get a lot attention on the streets and everywhere you go. The body is straight with no rust and Everything is power hands. The front Two doors is power hands and the rear windows pops out giving the impression of a true 70s cars.
The front whippers works great so the rear whippers. The wheels are original from Toyota but the tires has been replaced and they are almost new. The engine is a 1.6 indestructible little engine that will go in history as ones the most durable Toyota engine ever. If Toyota cars last up to 300 and 400 k miles you can imaging how long this one will last you with only 12,500 original miles, it will last you all your life without braking just keep up with maintenance such as oil change every 5,000 miles preferably synthetics original oil from Toyota dealers.
The Corolla lift-back was added to the third-generation Corolla lineup as a new body variation in January 1976. The sporty 2-door wagon horizontally extended the roof of the fastback coupé to the rear and attached a large hatchback door.
Its front design was distinct from that of the sedan and the hardtop.
Even if the cargo hold doesn't grab your attention, the Liftback is still the best Corolla to buy. The new body brings roughly 40 pounds additional weight, and for once it does some good: The extra bulk is all behind the rear tires, and this results in a more favorable weight distribution that injects new life into the Corolla's handling. Understeer is for the first time at acceptable levels; if you dont mind the heavy-handed approach, this little sportster is quite happy being flung sideways in the turns.

Seller Note:
The Corolla SR5 is just about bulletproof, it is one of the most reliable and durable cars in the world. However I would have no problem driving anywhere in a Corolla. They have a reputation for wearing out their owners who eventually get sick of them and sell them in perfectly running condition just with 200,000 300,000 or more miles and 15-20 years old or more. This particular Toyota Corolla has an impressive 12,500 original miles pretty much you will have a car for life. If you buy this beautiful restored Toyota Corolla SR5, make extra sure you REALLY like it because it it going to stick around for a REALLY long time. Be advised, if you want a classic car who doesnt break often as most American classic does, then dont look forward, this Toyota Corolla is for you. This is a very rare example and you will get a lot attention on the road. Shes a head turn little green machine that will not let you down or stranded on the middle of no where. Trust Toyota they have a reputation of wear you out.
Exterior:
Excellent original condition paint with no dents and no scratches. I can honestly say this paint looks 9 out of 10 and it looks better in person, pictures and videos make no Justice
Interior:
1976 Toyota Corolla SR5, excellent interior with no rips on the seats and no cracks anywhere the dashboard. I have replaced the carpet and the headliner due to age of the car was falling off. You wont be disappointed owning a very rare and super nice Toyota Corolla that no one will have in your neighborhood or probably no where in your state.
