Cruisin Classics

"Cruisin Classics is proud to present to you this stunning 1974 Volkswagen Beetle. This Bug has tons of eye appeal with its slick pearl white paint, bright trim, and lowered stance. The large front headlamps have bright trim rings, ""eyebrow"" visors, and ""cat's eye"" covers an awesome combination that's sure to get attention! Both front and rear bumpers are in good condition with all of their rubber guards intact. There is lots of bright trim hood center strip, turn signal bezels, side molding, side mirror, door handles, and front window trim. The running boards are rock solid and topped with newer rubber matting. Around the back are the iconic ""elephant foot"" tail lights, a vented trunk lid, and chrome exhaust tips. On the roof of the car is a grey luggage rack with attractive wood slats that's like a cherry on top. This whole cool package gets down the road on 8-spoke EMPI wheels wrapped in new (2022) Mastercraft SRT Touring red-line tires that take the look to a whole new level. In the front trunk, you'll find black hook & loop carpeting, a full spare on a rally-style wheel with a VW hubcap, and a factory jack. Under the rear trunk lid lies the heart of this Beetle a very nicely presented 1,776cc 4-cylinder engine. The engine bay is clean and tidy and the engine appears to have a multitude of newer parts as well as newer wires, belts, and hoses. This engine is mated to a standard VW 4-speed manual transmission that shifts like butter. Stopping power is improved from stock with 4-wheel disc brakes and newer calipers & lines. When you open the driver's door you'll see that the interior is just as cool as the exterior! The interior is dressed in a head-turning combination of red, black, and plaid. The door panels are in excellent condition with red vinyl, plaid cloth, and a black armrest and handle. The seats carry on the theme with red vinyl surround and plaid cloth inserts showing no wear. The floors are covered in newer looking black hook & loop carpet with matching carpeted floormats. Overhead is a nice, tight white vinyl headliner. The driver is treated to a 4-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel with Wolfsburg logo centercap a really great upgrade. As is typical of Beetles, the dash is rather spartan. There is a speedometer with fuel gauge and odometer, warning lights for ""Gen"" and ""Oil"", and an AM/FM Retrosound stereo with aux and USB ports in the glovebox. There are working 2-speed wipers, but no heat or horn. In the rear is a bench seat with seatbelts and a rear storage area with 2 box-mounted Infinity 6X9s for cruisin' tunes. We have a thick folder of receipts for this Bug dating back to 1984! It appears from the receipts that the car underwent a substantial restoration around 2009. If you're looking for a great-running Beetle that's ready to go to a car show today and turn heads everywhere, then this is one that you won't want to miss!

Here at Cruisin Classics, we understand that you have many options when choosing where you purchase your classic, muscle or collector car and we would like to thank you for considering us.
Cruisin Classics has been buying and selling cars for many years.. The majority were your average daily drivers but our passion has always been in muscle cars and hot rods so in 1996, Cruisin Classics built a 56,000 sq.ft. showroom located in Columbus, OH that they still operate out of today. All of our vehicles are hand-picked and selected to ensure they fit our inventory. This facility is now arguably one of the best-stocked collections for sale in the US housing hundreds of unique automobiles all under one roof. We invite you to our facility! There is something for everybody when you come to visit.
After years of serving as central Ohio's premiere classic car dealer at Cruisin Classics Auto Sales, we saw an unfulfilled need that was not being met for our clients. We loved helping match our clients with the classic and American muscle cars of their dreams. But what about after the purchase? We recognized that our clients needed a trusted resource to continue to care for their classic vehicles. It did not sit well with us that our valued clients and their incredible vehicles were being outsourced to, sometimes several, third-party resources for maintenance and performance needs. We also wanted to help the many people that we had met over the years who already owned classic vehicles which were in need of restoration, upgrades, and maintenance. Too often, we were seeing vehicles with so much potential left sitting in garages under covers because their owners did not know who to turn to for such specialized work. It is our goal to offer our clients a truly comprehensive, seamless, and enjoyable classic car ownership experience, from purchase to maintenance to storage. Thus, Cruisin Classics Performance Center was born. We have cherry-picked the most talented, experienced, and passionate team of technicians to offer our clients a true one-stop-shop solution for any and all of their classic car needs. Our honest business model has lasted almost 25 years to date and Cruisin Classics has a worldwide reputation as one of the best in the business.
Outside of the shop, this business has afforded us the opportunity to be actively involved in our community and fulfill our goal of supporting several local and national organizations that hold a special place in our hearts. We are proud sponsors of the Kiwanis Club of Columbus, the Columbus USO, Honor Flight, Special Olympics, multiple car clubs, and much more.
In conclusion, 100% customer satisfaction is our main goal. Always has been.. always will be. We would like to invite anyone considering one of our vehicles to come to our beautiful facility to inspect the car in person or send somebody on your behalf.
