"This 1974 BMW R60/6 shows just 16,133 miles on the odometer. The 599cc air cooled, 4-stroke, twin cylinder boxer engine runs well and has been recently inspected and maintained by a well-known BMW shop.
The ""slash six"" BMW motorcycles where built from 1974-76 with features including Bing carburetors, a shaft drive to the rear hub, drum brakes, telescoping front fork suspension and adjustable shock absorbers on the rear.
With the turn of a key this BMW comes to a quick start and smooth idle.
The bike is finished in the correct Bol d'Or red with white pin stripes. Under close inspection it appears most of the body has been repainted. The front fender shows imperfections in the paint and pin stripe. The frame is solid and there is no rust or signs of serious past damage. The frame, engine, and body tag have matching VIN - 4900225 (seen in photos).
