1972 Chevrolet Corvette convertible known as Speedvette is a high-end C3 Resto-Mod. Absolutely no expense spared on this 4-year professionally built car. Every inch of this vehicle has been massaged, starting with the rust-free powder-coated stock frame with RideTech suspension, including coilovers all the way around. This vehicle is equipped with massive Baer 6-piston brakes with 14' rotors and ReMaster cylinder for stopping power. The 6.2-liter GM Performance LS3 525hp engine with 4L70E 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission powers this Speedvette. Additional engine compartment features include one-off Corvette billet coil covers, Concept One serpentine pulley system, Be Cool radiator with dual electric fans, Borgeson 600 steering box and chrome-plated cast headers connected to chambered muffler side pipes. It rides on Schott Venom 19x9' and 19x11' wheels with Diamondback Redline Hankook tires. The subtly modified body includes an LT1 long hood, C6-inspired decklid and waterfall, smooth firewall kit and 2' rear flares. It is finished in stunning custom PPG Super Blue two-stage paint. All-new chrome adds to the bright exterior. The custom interior features Pro Auto Custom Interiors covered C3/C6-inspired dash and C5 heated seats in red leather, LED-lighted door panels, Daytona weave custom carpet and black canvas convertible top. American AutoWire juices this 'Vette up, and the Dakota Digital HDX gauges keep track of the important stuff. It has a Vintage Air system and, for nighttime driving, Detroit Speed ultra-fast electric headlights. The custom hood is operated and held down with a linear actuator, as is the emergency brake. Everything on this 'Super Blue Supercar' was thought out and applied so it could be driven or raced on an autocross course. We have many buying options for you, (call to speak to a rep today). You can buy with confidence from a trusted Classic Car Source.
Where is vehicle located? If you want to find out the location of a vehicle, please call us between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. EST, we have staff standing by to help you in every way possible.
Can I Speak directly with the owner? With all the rising scams on Craigslist and other sites, sellers list with us to protect their privacy. So in most cases the owner only wants to talk with ClassicCarDeals and we deal with the buyer, but there is a rare occasion where we can do a 3 Way phone Call with the owner. We and the owner are more than happy to get any and all questions and pictures that you need to make a sound decision.
Is The Car Available? The inventory on our site changes all the time, so there may be a small number of cars that will be sold when you call.
