Gateway Classic Cars of Tulsa is proud to represent this classic 1970 Volkswagen Westfalia Camper Van. This gem of a van has had, according to the owner, a complete ground-up resto. Originally an Arizona car, it was purchased by the current owner in 2017 and under went extensive work. As you can see from the pictures, no stone was left un turned. Painted in Pearl White like it was when new with new brown upholstery from Sewfine throughout. Plus, with a new 1776 engine installed and a Rancho Transaxel 4.57 Freeway Flyer upgrade, this gem can take on the highways with exceptional strength and versatility that will last for years to come. The attention to detail and quality of this restoration did not go unnoticed. In April of 2022, in an issue of Campers and Bus Magazines did a two page spread on this remarkable van, as well as the numerous first place trophies it has earned. It truly is a work of art and was completed with the utmost attention to detail. The only major deviations from the original options would be that the original sink and ice box were removed and replaced with a new fridge/freezer in its place. With so many upgrades on this van, it impossible to list them all. This beauty is ready to hit the open road and see the stars. Also, this Westfalia comes with extensive documentation from the beginning to end and everything in between so dont miss out on a piece of Volkswagen history and call today!
