"1969 Chevrolet Chevelle 396 V-8 Coupe DGC8875 VIN. 136379Z308875 I'm really impressed how well this Chevelle was assembled and how nice it is. You very seldom find a car like this. This is a special car that's had a lot of money spent on it. Starting with a small block Chevrolet engine and stroking it to 396 in. engine. BLUEPRINT ENGINES 396 CI stroker crate engine, small block, GMC style base dressed long block with fuel injection, aluminum heads, roller cam. 491 HP / 509 FT LBS10.4:1BluePrint Performance Aluminum Heads (Part# HP8103)Forged Pistons,Roller CamForged CrankPart #: BP3961CTF. New BluePrint Cast Iron Block. Manufactured and Machined in the USA. Align honed main bearing. bore Cylinders honed on computer-controlled machine to within .0002 straightness and roundness. Cylinders are sonic tested for thickness. 4-Bolt Main. 4.000"" Bore. 1-Piece Rear Main Seal. Mech fuel pump provision. Passenger Side Dipstick. Drilled and tapped for clutch linkage.
They changed out a 350 turbo automatic transmission for a 700 R 4 overdrive transmission. Has four-wheel power disc brakes. Power steering. Has Vintage Air. Has one of maybe the best sound systems I've heard. I cranked it up and it wasn't distorting at all. It was great. Everything works including the back up lights. I love those cast 17 inch wheels, they're beautiful. When I first looked at this car I would've told you it was silver with black stripes. But it's not. It's gray, a beautiful gray and has a tinge of rose. Color only comes out in the right light. Don't know how else to describe it. This car was so well done so, well put together. I believe you'll be hard-pressed to find a better restoration quality of work. Everywhere you look the interior the exterior the underside engine compartment. It's just very well done. I'm not sure quite how to put it in words. Everything has been well thought out. Make a point of really studying the engine compartment. I really like the looks of those cast valve covers. In the process of going through this car getting it ready to sell it was not running like we thought it should. So when Mike was doing the service and safety, check, he dug into it and told us we should take the fuel injection system off of it and and install a new Brawler carburetor system. Now it runs how we want it to run. I love the LED headlight system. I doubt this beautiful Chevelle has 500 miles on the engine and transmission. It's fresh and ready to go.

My name is Jeri Drager. My Dad, Otto, started Drager's in 1934. We've been in Seattle since 1950 and I've been working in the family business since 1960.
We have a great location that I call Drager's Clubhouse. It's every guys dream garage with ample outside parking, even a lawn. Inside we have a big screen TV, two sound systems that can shake the building and a dance floor. We have a two-post lift that enables us to inspect, clean and photograph the underside of vehicles.
We operate mainly by appointment.
