Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this beautiful 1968 Barracuda Hemi RO-23 Clone. The Barracuda name plate had an impressive ten year run from 1964- 1974. Definitively marking their spot in the muscle car era, Chrysler is known for their high- performance power plants including the iconic 426 cubic inch Hemi V8. This Barracuda is a faithful recreation of a RO-23 Factory Super Stock Race Car and is a true sight to behold. From the exterior you can tell this is a serious car just by looking at the meaty Mickey Thompson tires. Take a walk around the car and peer through the functional hood scoop where you can see the Cross Ram carburetors are just begging for fuel. Underneath the beautiful sheet metal this Barracuda is grounded by Alterktion front suspension, power rack & pinion and disc brakes. Take a seat inside and youll notice the rollcage, rear seat delete and Hurst shifter. The 426 Hemi was built part by part to recreate the RO-23 double 4 barrel rare factory option. Hooked up to a 3 speed automatic and a Dana 60 rear end with 4.56 gears imagine how this car can get up and go! If youre looking for a meticulously built Mopar this is the one you want to own! Options include power brakes, power steering, seat belts, vinyl interior and rally wheels wrapped in radial tires.
