This very nicely restored and updated 1968 Ford Mustang Hardtop rolled off of Fords Metuchen, New Jersey factory as an original V-8 model. Refinished in Grabber Blue with new black seat covers and matching carpeting, the Mustang also features a clean and solid underbody and chassis. Power is delivered by a desirable and responsive 5.0 Liter EFI V-8 engine equipped with a K&N type reusable air cleaner feeding a great-sounding, full-length dual exhaust system. Power delivery is via a 3-speed automatic transmission with OEM T-handle floor shifter and a later-model rear axle. Enhanced stopping is provided by a modern master cylinder, power booster, and 4-wheel disc brakes. Interior features include a wood grain 3-spoke steering wheel and Philco pushbutton AM radio. A recent detailed inspection confirms that the factory VIN-stamped front inner fender remains in place, the grille is original and in good condition, and all side windows are OEM Carlite-scripted items. Just 2,348 miles are indicated at the time of writing, presumably accumulated since the Mustangs restoration and build was completed. Polished American Racing Torq-Thrust wheels mounting radial tires complete this enjoyable classic Mustang in fine form. Appraised value of $50,000 CAD. Canadian tax is not applicable.
