1 family owned from Tulsa Oklahoma. This rare GTO Sport Coupe, only 2815 A/T Sport Coupes produced of 81,722, was bought for the Mrs. to drive to work until she retired in the late 70’s. After being lightly driven this GTO was stored in a facility with other collector cars in 1983. Upon the passing of both parents the son inherited this GTO and some time around 2020 he brought the GTO out of storage(after 38 years) and had the original drivetrain mechanically gone over to be driven. The GTO was one of the last cars in his father’s collection to be sold. I acquired the GTO in 2021 and since have had the engine pulled to replace the rear main seal and gaskets. The engine bay was detailed while the motor was out and the original A/C system works perfect. The original interior(seats and carpet) were remove, cleaned and replaced to maintain originality along with the original heat and sound deadening material. The floorboards were coated with POR15 while the interior was out to preserve the surfaces before installing the interior. The undercarriage was pressure cleaned and painted with most of the original undercoating in tact. All the chrome inside and outside was cleaned and polished to preserve originality. She still retains the original working AM radio and has 3 T-3 headlights. There are pictures of all the drivetrain stamps and casting numbers: even the alternator has the original numbers. This GTO is a true time capsule. Also, I have the Protect-O-Plate, Owner's manual, all service records, original temp. tag, lots of other documentation and the PHS documentation. This ‘67 GTO Sport Coupe is being offered by Classic Cars of Tampa and we offer financing and transport services. Tax,tag and title work is not included.
