You want the best? Here it is! Wow, this is a knock out restoration. This would cost $150,000 to duplicate at a professional shop. It all #s matching and restored to factory concourse quality. Documented with fender tag, build sheet, decoded by Galen Govier and listed in his registry.
EXTERIOR: Show quality, better than new fit and finishes. No rust or damage, arrow straight. Doors shut like new. Repainted it's original color with a better gloss and finish than factory gave it. It even feels slick like Teflon. The dual red stripes add some pop! The chrome, trim, grills and tail panel look like new. The door handles are original. New windshield, weatherstrips and seals. We just installed brand new chrome Magnum wheels that make this car look amazing! They are wearing reproduction redline tires.
INTERIOR: I love the white with the red trim. Of course it is restored like new from carpet to headliner. The metal trim is all repainted. The door panels, armrests, cranks and handles look like new. The seats are rebuilt and have firm cushion and all new upholstery with the correct embossed western pattern. The entire dash area is beautiful. It has the owner's manual in the glove box.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This has it's correct 440 Super Commando engine making 375 horsepower! All the dates and codes line up properly. It is completely stock: manifolds, valve covers, air cleaner, even date coated spark plug wires. It features power steering. Every component looks new, the engine bay is smooth gloss white paint. The original fender tag is still attached.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid, the jamb and the inside is spotless metal painted gloss white. It has a restored spare, the jack is properly mounted. Reproduction mat, weatherstrip and decals. Working trunk light.
UNDERSIDE: This is one of the best detailed undercarriages I've seen. It was flipped on a rotisserie and every single component was removed. The underbody metal is pristine and painted smooth gloss white. Every component was rebuilt or replaced before being installed. All of the suspension is redone. The brake system was completely redone. The fuel system was all new. It has a factory type dual exhaust with the correct angle cut polished tips. Looking up at the motor it is spotless, the starter looks like new. You can see the correct casting codes and dates. It has the correct 727 TorqueFlite automatic transmission. Restored 8 3/4 Sure Grip rear end.
SERVICE: We inspected the car and rewired the electric fan and calibrated the speedometer.
This is possibly the best one in existence. Restored to original specs as it was born. You can buy one that's driver quality for $50,000 or pay $35,000 more and get this one with a $100,000+ restoration!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
**These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership.
