Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to present 1967 Morgan Plus 4. Morgan Motor Company was founded in 1910 by Henry Frederick Stanley Morgan. Morgan cars are unusual in that wood has been used in their construction for a century and is still used in the 21st century for framing the body shell. Production of three wheelers approached 1000 by WW1 and quickly resumed with both racing and touring models. Morgans first four-wheeler came in 1935 with three wheelers phased out in 1952. The Morgan +4 was introduced in 1950 as a larger-engine ("plus") car than the 4/4. Body styles available were a 2-seat sports, 4 seat sports and more luxurious 2 or 4 seat drophead coup. The bonnet of the Triumph-engined Plus 4 fitted so closely to the engine that there was no room for an air filter. Powering this Morgan Plus 4 is the 2138CC Triumph TR4 engine backed by a 4-Speed Manual Transmission. This Morgan Plus 4 is painted white with a black vinyl interior.
