1967 Ford Fairlane 500 2 Door Resto-Mod Hardtop 5.0 Litre fuel injected V8 out of a 91 Mustang GT 5 Speed manual transmission Front disc brakes with 17 inch Alloy wheels 9 inch with 3:55 geared posi rear end, chrome traction bars 1967 Ford Fairlane 500 2 Door Resto-Mod Hardtop In the mid 60s the term full-size meant FULLsize and mid-sized meant not as big, and that's where the Ford Fairlane fit into the lineup. Not so big as to require a harbor pilot's license to guide it down the street but big enough to put a few friends in it and enjoy a drive-in movie with 4 or 5 friends. (Not including those in the trunk). To spice things up the powers that be at Ford created the 500 trim package to compliment the sleek lines of the sheet metal which included deluxe trim package and "pillar-less" hardtop roof . This great example is powered by a fuel injected 5.0 Litre out of a 91 Mustang GT V8 Engine with holley terminator x efi management system with all new sensors and a 5 speed manual transmission and floor shifter. This is as nicely done version of a Fairlane 500 we have seen. It is correct having the color Medium Aqua Metallic Code W and white vinyl top, it is a striking color combination. The engine runs strong and has complete dual exhaust system that starts with headers runs through a set Flowmaster style mufflers and exits out the back. The 5 speed manual transmission works great and it goes down the road like you would expect it to. The front disc brakes adds to the driving pleasure along with the 17 inch American Racing Wheels and radial tires for a look and road feel that make set it apart. This one has a super look and style. You don't see Fairlane hardtops very often and if you are looking for a mid-sized Ford with some style and a little kick, don't miss out. Features Powered by a 1991 Mustang Gt 5.0 litre with just 19,000 miles. Smooth shifting 5 speed manual transmission with floor shifter. Performance Tuned Headers with Dual Flowmaster type Exhaust. Ford 9 inch rearend posi with 3.55 gears. Finished in Freshly Buffed and Waxed Clear Coated Clearwater Aqua Poly Metallic. Immaculate aftermarket Bucket Seat with lumbar support and headrests. Safety Guard Padded Dash along with Front and Rear Seat Belts Factory 120 mph speedometer in the dash showing 18039 (not actual). Front disc brakes and Autogage under dash gauges Panasonic am/fm/cd radio under dash with rear JBL speakers. Drivers side Chrome Rear View Mirror and Day Night Interior Rear View. 17 inch American Racing aluminum alloy wheels with radial tires. Detailed trunk with mat, jack and spare tire. What began as a used car store in the 1970’s soon blossomed into one of the premier classic car dealerships in the country with a showroom boasting more than 25,000 square feet. During that time, celebrities, professional athletes, movie stars and prominent businessmen were highlighting the Duffy’s satisfied customer list. That company, founded on solid Midwest values and work ethic, would become the model for what all future classic and specialty car dealerships would emulate. The “new” Duffy’s is now home to more than 60 vehicles in the same glorious showroom that brought them prominence from the 1980’s through the early 21st century. A full service automotive and detailing department meticulously tends to each vehicle ensuring a fun, sound investment opportunity for its owner.
Turn the clock to today a resurgence of that historic Duffy’s brand. Classic Enterprises that became a descendant business, realized the value of the original Duffy’s recognition and reputation. When the old name became available we jumped on it. The name, the logo and the commitment to excellence have now been resurrected and have replaced the Classic Enterprises moniker. In addition, two of the “old school” members of the original Duffy’s management team are leading the company transition along with a full sales and service staff.
While the definition of a “classic” vehicle may have changed over the years that same,” Old School” Duffy’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction has not.
