Gateway Classic Cars of Houston
1910 Cypress Station Dr.
Houston, TX 77090
Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is proud to offer this nasty 1967 Chevrolet Camaro ProStreet restomod for sale. Covered in an eye-popping orange with white racing stripes paint scheme, it is pops out of the crowd at any car show! And thats even before you crank it up - when this beast lights off, it doesnt matter what color it is, everyone will turn to see whats making that huge snarl. Powered by a full roller 355 CID V8 that was built by Big Als Toybox specifically for this blower application. Ronnie Sterling of Rosenberg, TX handled the special build of the GM TH350 3-speed automatic transmission, which is also equipped with a 2800 RPM stall converter for the monster launches this thing wants to be doing. A set of QuickFuel 4BBL carbs supply the fuel, and coated headers send the exhaust toward the side exits. Power gets to the ground via a Pyle Brothers-built Ford 9-inch rear with its locking differential and Strange axles. The adjustable multilink rear suspension and its coilover shocks help keep the rear tires planted, and Wilwood disc brakes at all 4 corners handle bringing this bad boy to a stop. There are only about 2000 miles on the drivetrain since they were transplanted into this rocket in 2018. Inside, a full set of AutoMeter ProComp gauges provide the instrumentation, Corbeau racing buckets (with their RJS Racing Harnesses) keep the occupants secure, and the padded roll cage adds protection and chassis stiffness. The radio head unit is not hooked up (but who listens to music in something like this, LOL). There is also a Bluetooth speaker box in the rear, so you could still stream from your mobile device. This car is built to do one thing well: go in a straight line as quickly as you can handle, just so long as you can keep the rear tires hooked. If youre looking for a ProStreet machine with a giant blower poking out the hood to intimidate the mortals, this one will do the trick! Once you get your bearings inside, buckle yourself up, fire it up, and get motoring! Its ready to rock your world, so grab it before someone else does.
