Gateway Classic Cars of Houston

Houston, TX 77090
Gateway Classic Cars Houston showroom is proud to present this sweet red 1966 Pontiac GTO convertible. This beauty is a true 242 vin coded GTO and ready to hit the road. The Pontiac GTO is an automobile that was built by Pontiac from 1964 to 1974. The first generation GTO was a muscle car of the 1960s and 1970s era. Although there were earlier muscle cars, the Pontiac GTO is considered by some to have started the trend with all four domestic automakers offering a variety of competing models. Underneath the hood of this GTO it sports a 360 horsepower 389 cubic inch V8 with the triple deuce carburetor set-up. It is backed by a 4-speed Muncie M20 transmission coupled with a 10 bolt rear end. Not lacking for power this GTO doesnt just drive fine, it looks fine!! If that crisp red paint job isnt enough to make you drool, the cream white top paired with the black vinyl interior will certainly do it. This GTO is ready to burn some rubber into the pavement. So come take this iconic piece of American muscle car history home with you before its too late.
