Rare 1964 highly-optioned and authentic (458) Chevelle Malibu Super Sport. Less than 900 miles since a complete frame-
off restoration on this first-generation Malibu SS. Drive train includes a L79 327/350 with a factory M20 4-speed
transmission and a rebuilt 12-bolt rear end with 3.31 gears. Has not seen inclement weather, always garaged.
During the restoration, every component was touched with restored or NOS parts. The odometer shows 52,XXX miles
and is believed to be actual. This Malibu SS has been driven less than 500 miles since it was purchased in February, 2021.
New battery as of 10/2023.
This Malibu SS was re-painted in the rare factory (960) Silver Blue / Daytona Blue two-tone (1,160 produced in this
combination) and has one minor blemish on the rear edge of the drivers door, shown in the photos. This blemish was
caused by a transport company while moving the car. The (741) blue vinyl bucket seat interior has been restored.
Factory options include (RPO C60) air conditioning, (RPO A31) power windows, (RPO A01) all tinted glass, (N33) tilt
wheel, (RPO B70) instrument panel dash pad and dash pad clock, and factory gauges with (U16) factory tach.

Full-disclosure items:
The new American Racing Torque D wheels were installed by the selling dealer in 2/2021. I dont think they paid much
attention to the width and offset of the new wheels as the right rear rubs a bit when turning sharply to the right.
Otherwise, they do not rub while driving. Its a very tight fit under the wheel wells.
The AC was converted to R134A in 9/21 but the car has not been driven much since then so the quality of cooling is
unknown. The system may need to be charged. The Chevrolet dealer that did the conversion stated that the system was
cooling when completed. A fresh oil and filter change was completed at the same time at 51,774 miles (260 miles ago).
This Malibu SS came from the factory with the drivers side remote control mirror. The cable end was broken when I
purchased the car and I have not been able to locate a new cable. The current parts are included with the sale.
