1963 Ford Galaxie Slant Back An R Code without the R. This is the Carthis is the Motorthis is the Drivetrainthat turned the tide for Ford (vs) Chevys mighty 409/425hp and Mopars Hemis that controlled NASCAR and the NHRA dragstrips in the early 60s Ford was getting blown awayso half way thru the model year Ford introduced a new car designated with the R codethis 427cu in/425hp car turned the tide for Fordand as they say The Rest is History. Its not an official R code but has everything except that little thin piece of metal affixed to the car with an Rplus this car has more features, and in my opinion, is better than a factory R code for pure enjoyment. This car has AC that the factory didnt offer. with the compressor mounted where you cant even see it from aboveonly from underneathand blows COLD. Andthe factory didnt offer Disc Brakes on the front with a Dual Master Cylinder which this car hasboth added for safety and newly installed. * The Black sides are straight as an arrowcar and paint were restored 8 years ago. * Trim and Chrome are as new and maybe betterwith all new correct Badging. * The Red interior is impeccable. * Underneath is nice and tidy as you would expect. * Dual Carbs operate as they should as does the smooth shifting 4-speed tranny. * Exhaust has a nice soundexiting through the original Cast Iron Factory Headers * The correct, highly-sought-after Wheels, Caps and Tires cost $3,500 alone comes with a color-matched set of fender skirts. * Speedometer shows 36,088 miles believed to be original. * Own a piece of history that runs, drives, and handles as it should while putting a smile on your face thats difficult to wipe away Please Note The Following **Vehicle Location is at our clients home and Not In Cadillac, Michigan. **We do have a showroom with about 25 cars that is by appointment only **Please Call First and talk to one of our reps at 231-468-2809 EXT 1 ** FREE Consignment

Who Is Classic Car Deals? We are one of the world's largest classic car consignment companies. Our headquarters are in Michigan but the majority of the inventory is located in other states. We have many buying options for you, (call to speak to a rep today). You can buy with confidence from a trusted Classic Car Source.
Where is vehicle located? If you want to find out the location of a vehicle, please call us between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. EST, we have staff standing by to help you in every way possible.
Can I Speak directly with the owner? With all the rising scams on Craigslist and other sites, sellers list with us to protect their privacy. So in most cases the owner only wants to talk with ClassicCarDeals and we deal with the buyer, but there is a rare occasion where we can do a 3 Way phone Call with the owner. We and the owner are more than happy to get any and all questions and pictures that you need to make a sound decision.
Is The Car Available? The inventory on our site changes all the time, so there may be a small number of cars that will be sold when you call.
