$135,000, 3 year professional restoration! Only 2,300 mi since it was finished. High quality, tastefully done in and out. It's a real performer too!
EXTERIOR: Professional body restoration by Manley Rod N Customs. This Chevy is laser beam straight! All the emblems were removed and filled for a smooth look. No rust or damage. The deep metallic copper color is laid out evenly the clear coat is polished like wet glass. It looks like you could reach right into the paint. The chrome was either redone or replaced at the time of restoration. The weatherstrips and window seals were all replaced. All new glass with a very light smoked tint. Staggered size Budnick polished wheels: 17 inches in front 18s in back and they're wrapped in performance Yokohama tires.
INTERIOR: I'm sitting in the car right now and I am very impressed, I can smell the leather! Complete custom floor to ceiling by Northeast Custom Rods. It was gutted and lined with sound deadener. Completely new wire harness with modern fuse block. The seats are custom contoured, reclining buckets in front. They are upholstered in Italian leather with French stitching. Very sharp looking custom contoured side panels and rear shelf. Custom cloth headliner with a decorative center piece. Down on the floor is custom cut carpet with bound edges, new seatbelts and a billet shifter with a leather boot. In front of me is slick painted metal and a neatly installed matched set of Pro Comp gauges. Below the dash is a custom console with a JVC Bluetooth stereo, it has a sub and amp, 4 speakers were installed behind decorative wire mesh covers. It also has a beautiful steering wheel on a tilt column. Billet handles and pedals.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Under the hood it's completely custom. It has chassis work inner fenders, the entire engine bay and under the hood is painted slick like the car. At the heart of it is a performance built 355 engine reportedly making 500 horsepower! It has a Crane solid lifter cam for high revving and on top is an Edelbrock aluminum intake, 750 dual feed Holley carb and an MSD ignition system. It also has a set of headers. It's dressed up with some cast aluminum Trick Flow valve covers. In front of the engine is a serpentine belt system with billet pulleys and alternator. It runs cool with an aluminum radiator, overflow bottle and stainless hoses. It features power brakes and a new wiper motor with hooked up squirters. Tubular supports are mounted from the firewall to the frame to prevent body twist.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It's beautiful in here too! Under the trunk lid and the jamb are painted as slick as the car. Inside is boxed, upholstered and carpeted to match the interior. The front panel hides the battery and stereo equipment. The fuel filler is down on the floor.
UNDERSIDE: It has a custom chassis. Upfront is a Chassis works front subframe with tubular control arms, adjustable coilover gas shocks, rack & pinion steering. Welded in frame connectors tie the front to back and prevents body twist. In back it has new springs, traction bars and adjustable QA-1 gas shocks. Hand fabricated stainless exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers and turn down tips. 11 inch Wilwood disc brakes at all four wheels with Dynalite calipers and a custom e-brake system. Custom fuel system including the tank, pump, and braided fuel line. Looking up at the motor it has an anodized oil pan and a high torque starter. A heavy duty scatter shield connects to a Super T-10 4-speed manual trans with a hydraulic clutch. A custom driveshaft connects to a Fab9 rear end with 3.56 locker gears. The floors are smooth, dry metal painted black.
SERVICE: We inspected the car and installed a new clutch, hydraulic throw out bearing and had the flywheel cut. We reattached the interior door handle, replaced the speedometer cable and the e-brake handle.
I mentioned this car was professionally built and it shows. The fit and finishes throughout out are high quality. It's tastefully done too, gorgeous exterior and a very rich interior. It's more than just a pretty face, this little car rocks! Accelerates, stops and handles like a sports car.
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.
