1956 Ford Thunderbird, a classic American icon. Frame-off restored, finished in its factory black which complements nicely its two-tone black and white vinyl interior, creating a bold and stylish aesthetic that's impossible to ignore. Repainted after the restoration approximately 10 years ago. Within the last year, the seat was refurbished with new foam and new vinyl upholstery. At the same time, the original steering wheel was removed and replaced with a new smaller wheel that still appears stock-looking (the original comes with the car). With that simple modification, someone 6 feet tall can easily slide in and out of the driver's seat and sit comfortably while driving. Under the hood, you'll find a powerful 312 V8 engine paired with a 2spd. automatic transmission, delivering a smooth and responsive driving experience that's characteristic of this legendary vehicle. Whether you're cruising down the highway or taking a leisurely drive through town, this Thunderbird is sure to impress with its performance and handling. The power seat works smoothly and adds a touch of modern luxury to its vintage charm. This T-bird is equipped with its factory hardtop only, featured in the photos (stand not included). Factory radio and clock n/w. The Continental kit chrome is showing signs of age. The front bumper has some scuffs. While the body and paint are really very nice throughout the car there is a small area on the lower portion of the passenger side door that has a few bubbles in the paint. They are hard to see standing in normal light. We made sure to show them in one of the listed photos. They could easily be repaired by someone handy with a paint gun. This 1956 Ford Thunderbird is more than just a car, it's a piece of automotive history. Its unique combination of classic design, timeless color, and modern features make it a standout choice for any classic car enthusiast. Original miles showing 40,597. Miles since restoration are said to be 6300.
