1955 Citroen Traction Avant Light 15,
Price Reduced. Assembled in UK (Slough UK). Different than French models as Slough built cars have leather interiors, mahogany dashboard , 12v Electrics and extra exterior chrome. This is the Light version (same as French Legere) - about 3/4 size compared to the Normale. Quillery accessory package including the banjo steering wheel. Though it is not a show car it does present very well. It is made to be a driver. Best fun on back roads - 50mph is the sweet spot.
Numerous safety features have been added. Seat belts, alternator, standard air cleaner (not oil bath), new modern brake reservoir, electric fuel pump, refurb radiator, refurb waterpump, refurb cylinder head, 4-cylinder engine, modern instrumentation, new Michelins. Michelin radials debuted on these cars. New battery. Craig Nicols' Racerrods no-color wiring (every wire labeled at 5" internals). Exterior is 99% authentic. Original color as I acquired it but newly discovered to be a metallic maroon, instead. All new body rubber during body disassembly for repaint. All modernized gear included to replace if desired. Repair manuals and special tools for front brake maintenance.
Owner also has a folder full of records and receipts as well as the original owners manual!
