Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is honored to present for sale, on consignment, this absolutely stunning 1952 Henry J Corsair Gasser! Aptly named "Blown Income", you will be hard pressed to find a more detailed Henry J build. Everything down to the bolts were given special attention on this Corsair. After the dust settled and the owner took a step back and looked at what he created, he just wanted to preserve it. This car was trailered to car shows and lightly cruised, never raced and highly celebrated at the local shows. Everything was torn down to bare metal and the beautiful execution of creating what you see today began 4 years prior. The frame was boxed and powder coated along with the suspension parts and pieces in metallic gray and black. A Dart 427 block was built by Kenny Dutwieler as a pump gas screamer using Brodix aluminum heads, Jessel shaft rockers, Diamond 9:4:1 pistons, Crower custom roller cam, 6-71 supercharger and Hillborn injection. A B&M Clutch Turbo is mated to a McLeod twin disc clutch that runs the dynod 690hp at 6500 rpms to a Ford 9 inch rear end running 4:11 gears. Front suspension consists of a Speedway front axle with Ford spindles, Wilwood disc brakes and Competition Engineering 3 way adjustable shocks. The rear suspension is the stock springs on rollers with four foot ladder bars, Competition Engineering 3 way shocks and Ford drum brakes. A custom tilt nose with a custom fabricated blower injector opening on the hood was a small focus of the body work that you see and executed by Kevin Perry. Ferrari Rosso Red was laid down just before the hand laid lettering and hand turned variegated copper leaf accents. Bronze safety glass for the winshield and Bronze Lexan on the doors, quarter glass and rear were installed to save weight. Details like the shaved lettering on the front tires that wrap around the 15"x4" Vintage Wheel Works wheels. Out back a set of 15"x10" American Magnesium wheels are wrapped in Hoosier 31x13.5 tires. When you hear a person say "no detail was left untouched", this is the result of such a claim. A beautiful car inside and out, you will be the star of every show you participate in. Be the next lucky owner to truly introduce this new build to the world. Our sales staff is standing by to answer questions and assist you through the purchase process. Dont miss out on the chance to own a true work of art!

Our Scottsdale showroom is Gateway Classic Cars’ 16th location and opened in September 2017. We are located in Phoenix, Arizona which is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States and our reputation as the ‘Valley of the Sun’ allows for a year-round car season and a perfect environment to preserve vintage automobiles. Scottsdale is known as the home of the famous Barrett Jackson auction that draws thousands of collectors and enthusiasts to the Phoenix area every year. Our large and growing inventory includes plenty of desirable ‘southwest cars’ that have not been exposed to road salt and inclement weather like in many other US locations. We encourage our local car clubs and enthusiasts to come check us out on the last Saturday of every month for our Cars and Coffee event and cruise around our awesome 42,000 square-foot, air conditioned showroom.
