1940 Ford pickup is as nice as they come a flawless hauler that has been meticulously crafted for the long haul. It has been built to drive, and it drives like a dream. And it looks great, too. From workhorse to racehorse, this little pickup has been built for fun, and driving it is as much fun as you can have with your clothes on. A visionary rod builder media blasted the body and frame of this pickup and started a restoration that would not only bring this old hauler back to life, but transform it into a show winning, but practical machine that would couple traditional styling and great, smooth looks with more horsepower and modern safety and roadability features. The body and paint are exquisite. Visually flawless sheet metal is deeply coated with brilliant platinum basecoat - clearcoat paint, color sanded to perfection. The frame is clean and painted flat black, carefully buttressed and boxed to handle the strong Chevy small block crate motor, and fitted with a Heidts independent front suspension, power rack & pinion steering, and power disk brakes. The automatic transmission is a TH350 and the rear gears are freeway friendly for easy cruisin. This pickup has suicide doors, power door locks, power windows and a first rate AM/FM/CD system with remote control for cruising enjoyment. Inside the cabin, plush, comfortable bucket seats are upholstered in soft, iris ultraleather with matching door panels and headliner, plush carpeting, a polished aluminum tilt steering column with a leather wrapped LeCarra steering wheel, air conditioning, and new instruments in a custom polished billet bezel. The cargo box has polished oak planks. P275 radials aft and P195 front tires are wrapped around chrome reversed rims to produce a rubber rake for just the right stance. Not only does this Ford pickup get the attention of all who see it, it is a genuine pleasure to drive. Fingertip power steering, sure power transfer, and instant stops ensure you will smile every mile.

Can I Speak directly with the owner? With all the rising scams on Craigslist and other sites, sellers list with us to protect their privacy. So in most cases the owner only wants to talk with ClassicCarDeals and we deal with the buyer, but there is a rare occasion where we can do a 3 Way phone Call with the owner. We and the owner are more than happy to get any and all questions and pictures that you need to make a sound decision.
Is The Car Available? The inventory on our site changes all the time, so there may be a small number of cars that will be sold when you call.
