I bought this truck with the understanding that it ran and drove just fine. But after we got it and drove it a bit and I have a video showing the pick up driving down the road I was driving it and we discovered the original engine as a crack in the water jacket and leaking water into the oil. We have been on the lookout for another 216 engine or 235 engine with front mounts. We have not looked very hard but that's what this truck needs is new engine. The truck has a lot of gingerbread on it and so it looks really good. It draws a lot of attention, we have not done anything with it particularly and it's time to sell it so if you want to project this is it and I can send you the video of me driving it. Remember, we're selling it as is it's not drivable. I have included photos of the engine apart in the photos at the end.
1938 Chevrolet 1/2 ton pickup. This is a real barn find with all the dust and dirt. DGT1504 VIN# K1881504. 216 6 Cylinder, 4 speed trans. This is a cool old farm truck. It came out of North Dakota and it was literally on Hazer Farm. The stake sides are engraved with the family farm name. The body is really solid, but wavy. We haven't done much to the truck and we are going to sell it just like it is. The engine runs well and the truck drives down the road just fine. The brakes need some attention, because one of the rear wheels locks up easily. There is a lot of gingerbread added to the truck, like the light bar on top of the cab, horns on the back bumper. The truck is all there, but unrestored. It is very cute and it gets just as much attention as any other other trucks that we have. It just has a lot of character. It's just waiting for a new owner to put their name on the stake sides. Cond #4

My name is Jeri Drager. My Dad, Otto, started Drager's in 1934. We've been in Seattle since 1950 and I've been working in the family business since 1960.
We have a great location that I call Drager's Clubhouse. It's every guys dream garage with ample outside parking, even a lawn. Inside we have a big screen TV, two sound systems that can shake the building and a dance floor. We have a two-post lift that enables us to inspect, clean and photograph the underside of vehicles.
We operate mainly by appointment.
