Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee is excited to present this 1936 Ford Model 48 Tudor sedan. The Model 48 was an instant hit for Ford due to its good looks, price, ease of use and of course V-8 power. Believe it or not, the 1936 Ford 48 was offered in thirteen different configurations. Including coupes, sedans, roadsters, convertibles and station wagons. Two trim lines standard and deluxe were offered. This Ford Model 48 Tudor sedan two-door is strikingly handsome in its tuxedo black paint. Its genuine good looks are highlighted by great chrome work and period steel wheels fitted with chrome trim rings and moon hubcaps. The gray velour interior is warm and inviting for those Sunday afternoon drives. Under the hood is Fords 221 cubic inch V-8 producing 90hp. A three-speed manual transmission transfers power to a spiral bevel differential. Ford hit a homerun with the Ford 48. This Tudor sedan is not only beautiful in design, but in 1936 standards it was a power- house to reckon with.
