Gateway Classic Cars of Detroit
15000 Commerce Drive N
Dearborn, MI 48120
Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this 1935 Auburn Speedster replica. Produced from 1929 to 1937, the Speedster benefited from E.L. Cords empire which included many talented designers from Cord, Duesenbreg and Lycoming. As different engines became available, the Speester was manufactured in three distinct phases. The last of these was the 851/852 Speedster which benefited from styling upgrades and a reworked Inline-8 engine. Under the hood of this one is a Lincoln 460 v8 and is paired to a C-6 automatic transmission. This particular Auburn replica was part of the Gas Monkey Garage collection, and even comes with prior bill of sale to prove such. Finished with a cream exterior that pairs well with the Maroon vinyl interior, this color combo helps with the classy-ness of what you would expect from an Auburn. It does have a (black) manual convertible top as well, but who needs that when you have the tonneau to cover everything but the driver side area.Other options include Power steering and Power brakes. The wire wheels are modern but keeps the classy look very nicely. If you ever wanted to look like a 1930s oil tycoon, but keep some modern features, or if youre a Gas Monkey Garage car collector, this is the car for you!

Our Detroit Showroom opened its doors in June of 2013 and is the fourth addition to Gateway Classic Cars. Detroit has been dubbed as the "Motor City Capital of the World" and has earned that title by being home base for American automobile manufacturers such as General Motors, Ford Motor Company and Dodge/Chrysler. Detroit is also home to the largest automotive gathering in the world, The Woodward Dream Cruise which is hosted annually on the 3rd weekend of August.
Our Detroit Showroom is located in historic "Ford Country" just footsteps from the Ford Motor Company World Headquarters building and a short drive to the General Motors World Headquarters located in the Renaissance Building in Downtown Detroit. Henry Ford once roamed these streets with Model T's, the Dodge brothers raced their way around city roads and extinct companies like Oldsmobile and Pontiac have left us fossils reminding us of the greatest era in automotive history, the muscle car era.
