1927 Ford Model T
The 1927 Ford Model T is one we love to see and you get to enjoy the true roadster fun. Today that diverse spirit lives in this complete example that would be an attraction at any vintage car show, truck show, or even parade. The Model T production was the first to use the assembly line, cutting a cars production time from 12.5 hours to 93 minutes per car. Every three minutes, a new Model T was coming off the production line. By the time Ford had produced its 10 millionth Model T, more than 50% of the cars in the world were Fords. The only car manufacturer to produce more single model cars than the Ford Model T was Volkswagen and their Beetle, surpassing Ford's record on February 17, 1972.
This Model T has a four-cylinder engine producing 20 horsepower with a top speed of 45 miles per hour and could run on gasoline, kerosene, or ethanol. The Model T transmission has two forward speeds and a reverse gear as well as adjustment levers on the steering wheel for the throttle and Timing.
The Black paint looks nice and was Henry Ford's favorite color choice for the model T. This Model T is very period correct, and the whole package has a well-earned, well-aged look that some may even mistake for original. We particularly like this Model T because it boldly showcases the older style craftsmanship that came on the earlier vehicles. You see it in some great standout pieces, like the bold red wire wheels.
There's just something extra cool about an open-top coupe. So, while the black roof looks good and fits nicely, we bet you'll be spending most of your time open to the world. No matter how you choose to motor, stepping inside this Ford will always feel like a time machine to 1927. The bench seats and door panels have been reupholstered to feel fresher, but they still retain the vintage charm. Plus, there's no better feeling out there than grabbing an older four-spoke steering wheel and the sensation of having history literally in your hands. You even have the right details like the earlier-style gauge cluster.
A Model T is one of the best ways to enjoy an early motoring classic. So, if you're ready for open-top Sunday drive fun, call today!
