You’re looking at a New Mexico rust-free original Suburban Silverado 454/7.4L, HD Trailering Special, with a rebuilt transmission and tons of options. Very well kept survivor condition. Runs very strong and drives fantastically. Great little factory 454 exhaust burble, sadly I never got to roll a boat out. Only selling due to a death in the family and unfortunately we need the money for estate expenses. Not a dealer, from personal collection selling at NO RESERVE!

I am the 4th owner, but has been in NM its whole life. The engine is very strong. See links to running & start-up videos. Steers and brakes well and doesn’t wander. Highly optioned vehicle, see photo with original option codes.

Very straight body, only a few minor scratches & dings (tailgate, rear bumper, above driver taillight – silver dollar sized, slight indentation passenger door), but no corrosion whatsoever. Has an older re-paint in the original Silver Metallic, could use a new one in order to show. It was my next project to get the dings and surface imperfections repaired in prep for paint, then in the original color. The brighter surface areas in the pictures are where the original paint is showing as the newer paint has become delaminated over time. No glass cracks or pits. The roof had the original roof rack as noted in the option list, but was unfortunately missing when I purchased it, and the holes resealed, but with silicone as the previous owner was planning on reinstalling one. I wanted to either fill in the holes with metal or hunt down an original or aftermarket roof rack to try and use the original holes. Has “Rear Deep tinted glass” option- has really held up well! Heavy Duty suspension for trailering (incl working braking) & disc brakes are original options and in great condition. Original wheels, hubcaps, and spare.

Original 454, low miles & unmodified under the hood except for a new carburetor the previous owner installed. Runs and drives absolutely wonderfully, though might need some choke adjustment to start easier on cold mornings. Rebuilt transmission with receipts. The AC compressor is good (3rd owner said rebuilt), with the factory rear AC option, with several new maintenance parts installed by the previous owner while trying to covert to R134. However we found at least one of the new high pressure lines is leaking, so it won’t hold a charge. Wouldn’t hesitate to drive cross country, cruises at 70/75 just fine, just needs a big boat or camping trailer! Even has front hitch in case you want to push or store either one from the front. Recent services are battery, brakes, electrical, power steering, other random items. Included several undercarriage to prove the rust-free quality of this truck.

The interior is very nice, for show quality would need new carpet, but very presentable as-is. All original, with no tears or marks in the seats with the exception of the driver’s headrest, but can be easily repaired without re-upholstering the entire seat. Has original removable 3rd row seat, but the vinyl on the rear of that seat has some scuff marks from cargo. Not bad, no tears. Good headliner with no tears either. The dash does have some cracking underneath the cover. All power windows work including the tailgate window. Power locks aren’t working, you can hear the actuator but must operate manually, ran out of time to get those working. Keys work just fine though. Has all original GM floor mats, spare, jack, etc. Only modification is an aftermarket Kenwood stereo from the original or 2nd owner.

Full Disclosure regarding a “Minor Issue” that Autocheck or possibly Carfax notes: There really is no issue. There was a clerical error on the previous owner’s title, when he titled it, he checked the box saying “Non Actual Miles (NM)” because the 5-digit odometer had rolled over, twice. What he should have put was Mileage in Excess of Mechanical Limits (EL). I was not allowed to correct it, as it was already on his title. So New Mexico puts -0- on the title and puts the code NM as above. The title research companies note an odometer descrepancy, where there never has been one. Anyway it is a clear NM title in my name, I will happily send a copy to anyone interested. I will happily sign an affidavit noting that the actual miles is 231k as I know it to be. Depends on your state how they would enter it.

But as mentioned, as strong as the engine runs, I would think the 2nd owner had some engine work done, though I unfortunately have no proof of that. But it is the reason I had confidence in it when I bought it. That along with it being a rust-free unmodified version with a rebuilt transmission and so many nice (and working) options.

    Note from the Seller

** I discovered one of the speedo light bulbs just burnt out when I drove it last, will provide an allowance for that to the buyer as I won’t have a chance to replace it before the purchase.

Hi Everyone, owner /seller here. I had some long-term plans for this one too. Family camping and boating trips with all the gear. Other than its repaint in the original Silver Metallic, this is an awesomely original great running rig. The current bid only covers the rebuilt transmission! All proceeds go to my mother’s estate expenses, please bid freely knowing you are getting a very nice rust-free highly-optioned 454 HD Trailering ‘Burban. Absolutely any questions, happy to answer!
