The rear portion of the car appears to be a lighter red (or even pinkish) than the rest of the car. Is this correct, and if this is correct, why is this portion of the car a different color?

The rear of the car is sun faded. Our local body shop stated they could possibly paint front and back sections for approximately $1,500.00.
