Sorry to be difficult, but I have just a few questions about the transfer case / differential rebuilds that I can’t tell from pictures, and they’re probably all on 2 pages in the build binder.

    – Is it a NP203 or NP205 transfer case?
    – The front diff looks like a Dana 44, but what’s the rear diff?
    – What internals were used for rebuild in the rear diff? G80 Limited Slip? Eaton Positrac? Open?

Thanks in advance, and I appreciate your patience.

  • sigeon says:

The truck looks amazing, but I had a few questions before going ham on this one:

Would it be possible to get a video of the vehicle at a cold start, running, then moving? Just want a quick check for functionality (confirm no excessive smoking on startup, instrument cluster functionality, ignition timing is solid, etc.)

Also, is there any build documentation for the engine/fuel/ignition system that could be made available? Looks amazing, but that uncapped timed vacuum port on the carb + cut vacuum advance line on the distributor give me a moment’s pause. I’m guessing it’s an external electric fuel pump given the under-dash switches and pressure regulator.

Finally, is the truck still actively registered? (Can’t look up 13 character VINs, and escrow/shipping might require this).

Thanks in advance — can’t wait for this one to come up for bidding in a few hours!

Yes, I can do a video over the next couple days. That vacuum line may have happened when we were doing some maintenance at the time these pictures were taken. Yes it is currently registered with clear Oregon title and yes there is a 3″ binder of all the paperwork from the build.

Awesome, ACC should’ve reached out to you about a buy-it-now offer. Can never have enough square bodies.
