1976 Chevrolet Cosworth Vega serial number 3422. 122ci 4 cyl, 4 speed, 71,777 miles., dual carbs. This car was a nostalgic anniversary gift from our daughter and son-in-law 10 years ago. We have enjoyed outings in it and it only needs a fuel pump to get back on the road but it is time for someone else to love it. With a little TLC it can be a daily driver or an enthusiast can take it on to restore to it’s original glory.
Car has been garaged since we’ve owned it. Tires and battery are 3 years old but have less than 100 miles on them. Includes several boxes of parts passed on from the prior owner — most significant are left and right interior side panels for the rear cargo area.
The title has been misplaced and NH will not re-issue titles for cars older than 1998 but we will, of course, provide a bill of sale.
Full disclosure:
- Has fuel delivery problem. Will start and run briefly with starting fluid but not getting fuel to the carb. Fuel filter replaced so it’s probably a fuel pump.
- Prior owner replaced the fan with an electric fan and manual switch under the dash.
- Hood release cable is broken. “Tool” provided in case you accidentally latch it before that’s fixed.
- Prior owner moved the battery to the rear spare tire compartment.
