The body on it is in amazing condition with all of the iconic body lines coming together beautifully. We can see it has a gorgeous fit of all the panels as the doors, hood, and trunk have excellent gaps while opening and closing with ease.

The paint has been polished out to a mirror finish that’s slick down to the touch. We can also see that it sports the Black vinyl top that looks to have been installed new at the time of the restoration.

All the trim around the top also looks to have been replaced and has a brilliant shine along with the wheel opening molding and window trim. Both the front and rear bumpers are also like new and have a phenomenal fit.

All the glass in this Chevelle is equally impressive with all of the weather stripping and seals having been replaced. To finish off the stance it’s sitting on a new set of 15″ SS Wheels with new Firestone Wide Oval Raise White Letter Tires.

Next, we will look at the interior of this Super Sport. On the inside it’s done in the classic black with bucket seats and console that houses the Four Speed Hurst Competition Shifter. The front buckets and rear bench seat are all in great condition along with the springs and the padding.

Looking at the door panels we can see they look to have been replaced and have new handles and the standard crank handles, and all the side glass goes up and down with ease and a great fit. New headliner and sail panels have also been installed and they did a great job with the install.

We can also see new carpet and seals plates were installed. Looking at the dash we can see it has the factory Super Sport Gauges that are all in great condition and working as they should.

This ’70 has been set up with Vintage AC & Heat with the air controls being in the factory location. Inside the trunk is all solid and is detailed out with the spare tire and factory style jack.

Finally, we will get to the heartbeat of this Chevrolet. Under the hood it’s powered by the Matching Numbers 396 L34 350HP Engine. It’s set up with the factory style intake and Quadrajet four-barrel carb. It’s dressed in the chrome air cleaner along with having chrome valve covers.

We can see that the firewall and inner fenders are all rock solid and are a testament to how well it’s been cared for over the years.

For exhaust it has Headman Headers with new stainless pipes and dynatech stainless mufflers. To keep it cool it’s been upgraded to an aluminum radiator. When we look under this ’70 we can see that the floor pans and frame are all rock solid with no signs of rot or damage.

All the body bushings are in great shape as well. This Chevelle of course has the F41 Suspension. The matching numbers 396 runs through the Muncie 4 Speed transmission and 12 Bolt Posi Rear end with around a 3.08 gear.
