The stylish 500 model served as the top trim level for the Coronet series, boasting exterior trim and appearance upgrades, along with standard bucket seats and a center console in the interior. Beneath the hood lies a 383ci 4BBL V8 engine, paired with the preferred 4-speed manual transmission option. Given its status as an older restoration, we meticulously evaluated all mechanical, electrical, and cooling systems.

Alongside routine fluid changes, detailing, and tuning, we replaced, rebuilt, or updated any components that deviated from factory specifications or exhibited wear, including control arm bushings, leaf spring eye bushings, inner and outer tie rod ends, wheel bearings, brake hoses, wheel cylinders, motor and transmission mounts, clutch assembly, steering coupler, and fuel pump. The result is a solid, robust, and reliable performer, perfectly suited for collectors or enthusiasts seeking an appealing, well-mannered driver equally comfortable at local shows or cruising effortlessly down the highway.

Does it have power steering. How many miles on motor.

      Hello Hunsingerjv….
Yes, the Coronet has power steering…we did not build this car so we don’t have any records of the engine build itself. We did a thorough mechanical inspection of the car when we purchased it, we found weaknesses in some of the suspension components as well as the clutch assembly which also was corrected….we addressed any mechanical issues as we do with all of our cars. The engine is exceptionally strong and well mannered, no issues at cold start up or at full temperature. The engine has a mild cam and frankly we couldn’t ask for it to run or perform any better than it does…just a nice drive train on this car. We also just completed re-upholstering the interior seating, our internal restoration department upgraded the interior with seat covers and foams, the originals were starting to show their age.
Please feel free to forward any additional questions.
