1966 Ford Thunderbird Convertible

1966 Ford White Thunderbird Convertible. VIN. 6Y85O134368 I have to tell you this might be the best Thunderbird convertible I have ever seen. It’s beautiful.

1966 Ford Thunderbird Convertible

It’s correct Wimbledon White, Red interior. Built January 6th and it’s a local car always DSO code Seattle. And a Q code 428 Engine. Doesn’t get any better or does it? Also comes with the sports roadster cover, wire spoke wheels and fender skirts.

The paint is impeccable ( one little spot on front of hood ) You look everywhere, the door jams, the trunk and engine compartment. It runs and drives like it looks. This is an unbelievable car.

Yes it is and you can see the door tag and decode it your self there is a door tag in the photos. Another neat thing The engine tag is still on the engine I just took a photo of it and it shows 428 engine. This is a great car

  • tasmanian devil says:

What is restoration history and is it 100% roadworthy ?

    • Jeri D. says:

Ben bought the Thunderbird in 1994 on Camano Island. The engine was rebuilt by the previous owner how had owned it many years. In 1996 Ben had the body restored in Linden Wa. It took 3 years of on and off work to get it finished. The body had one small spot of rust down low in front of the rear wheel that was repaired Ben can’t remember if it was the right side or the left side? When it was almost done Roger talked to Ben about the engine compartment, Roger decided to pull the engine so he could clean and paint the engine compartment. It shows. Roger also undercoated the floorpan. This was not a body off restoration. When you look at this Thunderbird and you realize it was painted back it the 90’s and look at the paint like the door jams you can understand how well this car was taken care of. This Thunderbird is amazing. Ben told me he won many trophies and if the were going to a show like in eastern Washington he trailered it. Almost a trailer Queen. Ben also told me when the engine was rebuilt they set the speedo to zero. Ben told me he put almost the 41,994 miles on it. Ben believes it’s always been in Washington. Ben installed the new wire wheels and tires about 10 years ago. He installed new exhaust about 5 or 6 years ago. The left head about a year and a half got a crack? It was replaced. I have driven the Thunder bird and it drives like it looks. Yesterday I took it down the freeway and took it up to 80 MPH.

      Yes it’s very road worthy
